Social Held believes the purpose of companies goes beyond profitability.
Enabling employees to participate in company-sponsored volunteering events is a powerful way to give back to the community & think beyond profitability. At the same time, it has plenty of other benefits: corporate volunteering is a cost-effective way to develop employees and increase workforce engagement.
On the other hand, non-profit organizations (NPOs) heavily depend on volunteers and (just in Austria) more than half of NPOs struggle to find and retain them. Thanks to well designed corporate volunteering programs NPOs easily get access to the right volunteers.
