As an Internet pioneer co-founded Association for Progressive Communications (apc.org) and authored several key protocols and patents. He co-founded Lumeter – a leader in PAYGO technology for solar in Africa, sold to Mobisol in 2017.

He is passionate about achieving a scale that has a meaningful impact and not afraid to be break rules and conventions to do so. He has experience across many technologies – energy; materials; water; IoT; Internet; across the spectrum of technology startup activities: design; manufacture; scaling; partnering; exit; and has lived and worked in places as diverse as Australia, India, UK, US, Russia, Kenya.
