On average inefficiencies in supply chain logistics are increasing the price of products in 25% in Latinamerica. This is not only a problem for the logistic company who understands that last mile delivery represents 54% of supply chain costs but it is a huge problem for 184 M consumers that are considered poor and cannot afford this increase in price. Furthermore there are over 11 M informal drivers that search for daily jobs in order to provide food on the table for their families. When you connect these 3 dynamics (prices, logistics and informal drivers) you have great opportunities to generate value by having efficient last mile deliveries.
During the past few years we have been developing Fieldvision – LATAMs best IT Platform to make field operators 35% more efficient and 2020 showed how to scale faster by becoming our retail and consumer good product partners in last mile deliveries with the use of our technology.
Datatraffic's Story
My background in technology comes from the fact that since my father died when I was 13 I have helped my mother grow our family business into one of the top 50 IT companies in Colombia. She has tought me IT but most of all she has tought me about people; and I believe in the extraordinary team I have been able to form and that helps me grow the business. I understood that creating a business is not about must go beyond KPIs and market share; in order to be sustianable in long term you need to impact all stakeholders and field operators are our users and we need to help the improve their lives.
