82% of the global economy is now targeting carbon neutral by mid-century. In today’s dollars, this will take the financial investment (not to mention the coordination) of 10 moon landings each year from now until 2050. In the built environment, this means convincing commercial property owners to replace every boiler, chiller, light, motor and pump with the most efficient, low carbon, alternative. This huge need has attracted the attention of the finance markets, from government grants, to utility incentives, and investors with low-interest capital. The problem is that neither side of the market has the expertise to perform due diligence on these opportunities and the current solution, consultants, is expensive, slow, and cannot scale.

We know this because our founder, Christopher Naismith, was one of these consultants. Seeing the ambitions around carbon reduction escalate dramatically, he knew that there wasn’t enough time or spreadsheets in the world to continue with ‘business as usual’. Through automation, we can 10x the identification of conservation projects and apply data techniques to ‘securitize’ carbon efficiency for the finance markets.

Our mission is to turn every commercial building upgrade into a carbon reduction project. The climate crisis demands nothing less.
