As transport, agriculture and biomass energy produce the highest greenhouse gas emissions, ClearKarma, marketplace for local foods, sets new standards cutting down our footprint on the planet through local food sourcing from quality vendors, environment friendly packaging and efficient waste management enabling biofuels conversion into energy. Food and energy information are verified and traced via Blockchain for data security and automation.
ClearKarma's Story
– Sylvie Chin’s father died of a heart attack (too much cholesterol in his diet) and her uncle passed away because of diabetes type 2, caused by too much sugar consumption and lack of understanding about what to eat. – Britta Steel has lost a close friend allergic to sesame who died of an anaphylactic shock while traveling and consuming foods at a restaurant.
– Ina Lauth and her young daughter have multiple food allergies and intolerances. They are both concerned about making the right food choices and finding suitable alternatives.
– Our development company and investor KM-Ware has previously built a traceability system for the pharma industry which is a solid expertise for our platform.
Two new co-founders have joined our team since Sep. 2017:
– Gerhard Guenther, Co-Founder of Digital Sunray, a leading mobile development agency in Austria, and co-owner of the AbHof mobile app advertising farm products (abhofladen.at)
– Wolfgang Dvorak, former sales director of a large retailer in Austria, who is looking back at 10 years experience running successfully local food deliveries following a franchise system for breakfast deliveries.
