WeGlad's Story
Paolo is the idea seeder, his “why” is connected to the fact that both his grandparents had deep mobility problems and the grandfather had multiples amputations. Paolo took care of him till his last days and that’s how he felt on his skin all the problems in moving a person around with a wheelchair. Additionally he worked in the Turin airport at onboarding people with disabilities which strengthened the feeling.
Petru joined the project because his “why” was connected to his personal experience, when after a car incident he lost his leg balance and full functionality which led him to months of inability of leg movement till full recovery came and he then understood the meaning and luck of walking. Also he took care when working for live shows, of an air acrobat friend who got injured badly and had to use wheelchair for a while.
