Geek Express
Geek Express offers a platform enabling K-12 students with STEM skills go through an adaptable learning journey regardless of age, location, and medium of learning.
From all over the world, students ages 5 to 17, can access the platform and start their journey with Geek Express:
– Online, through live coding programs and boot-camps
– Through DIY boxes delivered to their doorsteps
– Through self-paced video lessons
Along the way, students can choose to alter between these learning mediums, take them simultaneously, within the same platform, gaining points, earning badges, and competing across an international community.
Geek Express's Story
As we head into the 5th industrial revolution, 65% of today’s primary school children will work in jobs that don’t exist, and 66% of parents fear their child will not find a job in the future. Formal education is failing at its purpose and feeding a widening skill gap. Schools have to change and adapt their content and teaching methodologies to prepare our youth. Geek Express, with its content and platform, sets the model for a futuristic school, a hybrid model where kids can learn relevant content (STEM), through an interconnected community, that knows no boundaries and is accessible to all through technology.
