We are a 3D construction printing technology company, currently we have designed a prototype printer and are close to finishing our second design, which will be faster and cover a larger area. We look to revolutionize the construction industry by designing construction tech that can be used to build structures. We also seek to open a partnership program so we may collaborate with construction companies in order to fulfil tenders.
We have already achieved a lot of traction with our initial home prototype print (social housing) and are looking for funding in order to fulfil orders as well as to further develop our technology.
Extrudia's Story
I grew up in both Switzerland and Serbia, so I’ve seen much when it comes to how different East and West Europe can be, but also how similar they are. For example while traveling from Belgrade to Zurich I’ve seen many countries and how people live, build and exist in the end – well there’s so much wrong with the mindset, when it comes to thinking long-term in countries like Serbia, Hungary and the southern countries of the Balkan peninsula, which is why I’ve always wondered if there’s a way to improve the safety, speed and affordability when it comes to construction.
Well this is how I came up with the idea to simply try 3D printing, because I’ve been using 3D printers since 2015, when I printed toys for myself and later my children, but this time I asked myself:
You can precisely calculate how much material, time and money you need to 3D print a toy out of PLA, so how come we don’t use this for building houses? This was way back in 2016, when I started learning more about concrete, robotics and automation, when 2018 I read the first article about the first US based company ICON and I said: Well here we have proof that someone too is thinking like me, but my idea will be bigger, because we don’t build 3D printers to print houses!!! NO!!!
We challenge the status quo of how humanity builds its civilisation, and we do this through automation, robotics and AI to preserve human lives while developing the most advanced technology to build/print faster, safer and more affordable and become an interplanetary race!
