Climate Essentials
Climate Essentials is a SaaS that emerged from the critical need to increase resilience and augment the impact of climate mitigation strategies. Our innovative software performs integrated carbon emission measurements, and climate-related business risk and opportunities assessments. This will help businesses and Local Authorities increase their resilience, reduce costs, and guide them towards clean growth and net-zero transition. We aim to include the use of machine learning and AI to automate data collection and populate our different carbon and risk assessments.
ClimateEssentials's Story
Climate Essentials was founded by serial entrepreneurs who saw the devastating effect that climate change was having on the planet and couldn’t just stand by and watch. Through witnessing the melting of the glaciers in Iceland first-hand as well as seeing devastating natural disasters around the world, they knew that they had to do something about it. If not for themselves, then for their children and grandchildren whose futures will be drastically altered by climate change.
As a result, they set out to recruit people with an in-depth knowledge of climate change and the effect that it is having on our earth today. They are an early-stage start-up whose members are extremely passionate about solving today’s most pressing problem. They have gathered a small team of driven professionals who not only have a proven record of creating and scaling successful start-ups but are also experts in sustainability and climate change.
