Dreamwaves is an early-stage startup company developing an audio augmented reality navigation application to guide the users in the most natural and easy way – without even thinking. It is a perfect solution for blind and visually impaired people and they take special care to tailor the app for this group. They are a team of passionate people from very different backgrounds, who believe they can make a difference by helping blind and visually impaired have an easier and life.
Dreamwaves's Story
At Dreamwaves they feel that orientation and navigation are fundamental challenges for everyone. Finding your way in a city when you’re late for a meeting, the platform for your train connection, or the ATM machine can be hard. For blind and visually impaired people, independent mobility is even a bigger challenge. Outdoor navigation is extremely difficult, sometimes just impossible. They are a team of people passionate about sound, usability, design, and technology. Complicated technology can be daunting but they know that when done right, a high-tech product can be as easy to use as Velcro. They strongly believe that an intuitive navigation app will enable blind and visually impaired people to be more independent. Do not think where you need to go, just follow the sound that you hear.
