Enerdrape is a cleantech spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL) , leveraging a modular, prefabricated geothermal panel technology that allows to turn any kind of new and existing underground infrastructure into renewable sources for the heating and cooling needs of buildings.
By offering energy professionals and building owners, a low-carbon, cost-competitive and easy-to-install solution to save CO2 emissions and increase the use of on-site renewables, Enerdrape foster the decarbonisation of the sector.
Enerdrape patented panel diversifies, simplifies and enlarges access to shallow geothermal energy potential as a renewable heat source for cities.
Enerdrape is committed to empower untapped surfaces, providing contemporary heating and cooling supply for smart cities.

Enerdrape's Story

Our aim is to revolutionize the way we conceive, use and supply renewable thermal energy to buildings. After more than 25 experience of combined expertise in geothermal systems and underground infrastructures, the 3 co-founders have spotted and identify an urgent need of innovation in the domain to help cities accelerate their energy transition while thousands of kilometers of underground surfaces with the potential to be turn into heat exchangers are completely untapped. In this context, the development of our disruptive solution will add a new dimension to renewable energy supply, enlarging the potential of shallow geothermal access and climate change mitigation.
