Our business project includes the development of a web-platform that enables planners and operators of decentralized energy systems to quickly and safely determine the optimal system configuration and system operation that is technically superior but economically cheaper to build and operate, thus guaranteeing a high ROI for distribution level energy infrastructure projects and industry applications. Integration of environmental factors like CO2 levels, sector-coupling and flexible operating methods bring added benefits to the customer. Now the decision-maker can have a holistic approach to configure requirements for all energy domains and also receives a detailed ideation on how the investments would bring benefits and save them from over-investment or missing out on promising opportunities.
energenious's Story
The business project energenious came together at the end of 2017 when initial Co-founders Christian Wiezorek and Daniele Berardo working in EU projects discovered the huge need for digital tools to perform sector coupled planning. The aspect of digitizing the energy which until today uses multiple tools and old workflows formed the basis for beginning the project. The impact our solutions would create are non direct but a reduction of 30% investment in energy infrastructure would translate to less resource utilization. Rohit Gnanasekar a enthusiastic researched and a fresh MBA graduate joined the team in 2019 after the initial funding’s for energenious ran out. Together for the past 2 years the team has built a company that was feature in Top 10 of various energy and energy efficiency related awards in Germany and is already working with industry interest groups on field.
