Impactory
With impactory.org we started the biggest donation platform in Austria. Over 150 non-profit-organizations are part of impactory. Private donors can donate with just two clicks, they can start calls for donations and also buy donation vouchers as a gift for friends or family. Companies get their own sub-page on which they describe their corporate responsibility and invite their stakeholders to support as well. Together with the donation voucher the engagement of the company becomes digital, interactive and measurable.
Impactory's Story
We want to make donating more easy, social & fun, so that great projects get the means they need.
The world of charitable giving has so far not caught up with this fast-paced trend and has comparatively fallen short in terms of digitization. Processes in terms of information, transaction, and documentation are intransparent, cumbersome and inefficient to all parties involved:
Private donors lack overview and transparency (flood of mail, street campaigns, etc.). Making a donation is too much effort (payment form, online banking, etc.). Very often a donor feels toothless with his / her contribution.
For non-profits, the status quo means high fundraising costs (25-50% of donations for mail and street campaigns or developing proprietary online-tools) most of the time with full cost exposure, a lack of utilization of the potential of network effects and little access to the mobile generation.
Corporates largely do their charitable giving “behind closed doors”. It requires a lot of effort to identify the right partners along with CSR- or philanthropy strategies. Only rarely, employees, customers or business partners are included in respective activities. Measurability and presentability are challenging, elegant means of communicating commitment almost impossible. The environment suffers due to tons of printed paper and CO 2 from the postal mail.
