LOANHOOD is the peer to peer fashion rental platform made for people who want to wear new stuff without buying new. We are starting with Gen Z who want to be more sustainable and fix the fashion industry but they still NEED that fashion fix.
On the app, Loaners can borrow other people’s clothes or rent out their own to make some money. It’s reinventing the way fashion works (for the better). The app is in the app store and is ready to scale.
LOANHOOD's Story
Climate change and social justice are the greatest issues of our generation.
We know fashion is packaged as fun and light and fabulous but it is wildly polluting and built on a system of colonialism and continued systemic racism.
Working in the fashion industry collectively for over 30 years we had a decision to make, do nothing and be complicit or try to change something. So we set about using our skills and knowledge to find ways to do fashion differently. Ways that are better for the planet and better for people.
