NeoFarm is convinced that the food resilience of populations is intimately linked to our ability to develop an efficient and ecological production model that rewards the producer’s effort.
Preserving biodiversity while producing our food is no longer a mere possibility, it has become a necessity: biodiversity is collapsing and with it all natural ecosystems. The prevailing agricultural method has severely degraded our food resilience. For example, France produces less than 50% of its fruits and vegetables, and longer has sufficient local means of production.
Yet consumers are looking for organic and locally produced food (up 18%/year) and farmers are ready to adopt new methods, if proven. NeoFarm seizes the opportunity to develop a new model of large-scale, environmentally friendly, cost-effective and locally implemented market gardening production
