Reha Buddy
reha buddy supports people to stay independent and mobile for as long as possible.
The Austrian healthtech startup puts all efforts into improving physical rehabilitation. To be more precise: reha buddy provides digitized mobility assessments. Those standardized tests and assessments find their place in the reha buddy+ app which is installed on a handy mobility monitor the size of a smartphone. The flagship product is the digitized 6-minute walk test that has already helped hundreds of patients and therapists in Austria. The reha buddy+ app also includes further assessments like the Timed-Up-and-Go Test, Sit-to-Stand Test, or the Y-Balance Test. On top of that, the connection between the mobility monitors and hospital information systems ensures optimal information flow and efficiency.
In a nutshell: reha buddy supports physiotherapists in their daily work and provides objective data of the therapy progress for patients and medical personnel.
reha buddy's Story
The first steps for this endeavour were done more than 10 years ago. Everything started as a scientific project of Harald (reha buddy’s CEO), which soon showed an impact on therapists and patients. Over the years, the project has evolved, like-minded people came together and eventually, in summer 2019 reha buddy was born. Since then, the team has grown to 9 people, all with the aim to support people to stay mobile and independent for as long as possible.
