Because with points earned for each piece of packaging recycled correctly, Scrapp makes recycling fun for everyone and ensures that your planet-positive efforts get rewarded. Plus we’ve even teamed up with Plastic Bank, so that each time someone recycles correctly with Scrapp, we remove up to 5 plastic bags from the ocean.
Scrapp recycling's Story
Dan, Mikey and Evan stumbled upon this idea one day as they were walking by the dumpsters outside their dorms. Shocked by the number of contaminated recyclables and after hearing from fellow students and staff that their motivation to recycle right was low because it was too confusing, they set out to fix it.
Their mission is to empower people to become part of the solution by enabling them to recycle right and use their unique data insights to encourage brands to opt for the most sustainable packaging options.
