Senex
Senex has developed a tech enabler platform that allows seniors to receive on-demand technical support directly at home.
The platform connects a certified workforce we call “Grandchildren on-demand”. They are carefully selected, considering both their hard and soft skills.
Once selected they get into an “Academy” to receive training and have access to continuous learning tools to perform service in the best way.
Senex's Story
In 2017 Roberto founded TeiaCare, an innovative startup in the silver economy sector.
During these years, he built strong relationships with the main national and international stakeholders of the sector. In 2019 he also founded the first Italian association of companies focused on Silver Economy (SEN – Silver Economy Network).
During these years he struggled with the deficient digital skills of older adults and of workers in the sector. For this reason in 2021 he decided to create a new business that will support seniors with tech: Senex.
