Tidal Medical Technologies was founded in 2020 to demonstrate that simple, inexpensive innovations can radically transform both patient outcomes and health system performance. Our founders, two working emergency physicians, saw from their daily practice that building innovations from a clinician’s eye view could both improve patient care and reduce the cost of that care.

As a company, we are dedicated to solving the kind of routine challenges that clinicians face every day, but that our health care system somehow just cannot seem to fix. In America, we spend more than $10 billion dollars annually on hospital readmissions. Millions of patients are returning to the hospital when they should be at home with their families. While the system is complex, the reasons for this waste usually are not. We believe that affordable, common-sense solutions can yield tremendous improvements and cost savings and that those solutions should be available to every patient in every community.
