VoltXon Inc. is developing products to harvest the patient’s body energy and readily store it to power implantable biomedical devices indefinitely. The company’s aim is to provide the first life-lasting cardiac pacemaker by replacing the traditional battery of these devices which last only a few years with our unique life-long power system. Their mission is to avoid cardiac pacemaker patients the repeated cost, pain, and risk of infection of the battery replacement surgeries and provide them with a safer, cost-effective, and life-lasting product.
VoltXon Inc's Story
Omar, an 11 years old kid, lost his life due to complications after the battery replacement surgery of his cardiac pacemaker. They believe that no patient should suffer because the battery ran out of charge. They created VoltXon, a pacemaker that lasts a lifetime and does not need replacement.
